Nice stay overall. Our second time in Gran Camp De Mar, once again we were not disappointed. Food, reception, location, pool area, animation, facilieties - everything was fine. The hotel is especially good when it comes to a family stay - there was a lot of big families with children, and things were great for them. I would like to point out the dining room personnel - you will see by yourself, they are great and helpful. There is another thing which is pretty unique for Spain - you have free drinks during your stay even with half board, including wine and beer. Although I am not a big fan of it anyway, that is really rare for Spain, and will be appreciated by those who are used to enjoy it during their stay in other countries. Camp De Mar itself is charming, so I really recommend staying here
The hotel also has some downsides worth mentioning. First of all, there is a 50/50 chance you will have either good or bad room. Not even a "sea view" will save you. To cut long story short, the wing closest to the sea has great numbers, especially those with the front sea view and mixed sea/mountain view. Another wing and the central side are much worse, believe me. The view won't be that good, it will be quite noisy and you will be able to see what's going on in all other rooms - not the thing you wanna do. Oh, and the rooms on the first and the second floor are just bad, especially those near the pool. Not only you won't have any view, but also you will enjoy the noise from the disco during the evening (although it closes at like midnight) as well as the noise from the pool area.

The location is wonderful, large beach with sand, mountains in the nearby area, there are rocky beaches too, the water was perfect, warm and transparent. The meal at the restaurant was tasty, a great variety. There is a number of activities and excursions that one can enjoy (natural park Galatzo, 2 aquaparks, night clubs in Palma de Mallorca etc. - the hotel provides transfers and organizes excursions). One should only ask at the reception.
The room wasn't clean, they hardly changed the towels and bedsheets, forgot to provide soup and shower cap. Air conditioner worked only a few minutes and then switched off. We asked at the reception to repair it, but when we came to the room it soon stopped working again.

Very cheap for singles. Quiet and calm on most nights compaired to the other two hotels at camp de mar.
The food was ok, but could easily be more varied

Dining staff and bar staff make this hotel with their warm hospitality and general helpfulness
Reception staff need customer training; difficulty with reservation. The hotel claim to have changing facilities for post check out yet provide no towels or toiletries

great access to beaches and dining options near camp de mar
The hotel, while solid for families and clean with helpful staff, could improve on some meal variety to enhance the dining experience.

The staff were smart and excellent in case of questions. Location: the hotel was very close to wich visited the old previous owned property, cocktail bar charged for all inclusive drinks and the airport. Stopped by Helederia Nanen to get some coffee and treats, it's minutes from the venue, recommend.

Located right next to the beach
During weekends the local spanish people travel to Camp de Mar beach, causing overcrowding

We love Camp de Mar and go there every year. That was the first time in this hotel. We usually stay in a 5 stars near by. This year it was not available and we ended up at Gran Camp de mar. The hotel was a nice surprise: optimally located directly in one of the best beaches of Mallorca. Place is very quiet, perfect for relaxing. Food was better than expected for a hotel of its size. It was simple but made with fresh products and tastefull. Specially the breakfast was quite good, with many options and delicious pancakes. We stayed in a suite room with an excellent view of the bay. Rooms (at least the suite) are simple but confortable, with good shower, good air condition and reasonable bed. The hair dryers were excellent (unusual in most of the hotels). Excellent cost-benefit. We will return.
Deserts (apart from fruits) and drinks are a "no go". Anyway, it is fair for the modest price paid. Gym is inside the spa and can only be used from 10 to 13 and from 15 to 19hs. So, you have to leave the beach if you want to exercise. In there, air conditioning is poor, no towels, no water. Beach towels are often unavailable and you can only get them during spa time (same times than gym). If you are late, you get no towels for the day. Things that are normally cortesy in almost 100% of the hotels have to be paid, such as replacing beach towels, using the room safe and wifi internet (even with your own computer). Reception service is unfriendly and impolite. We use them very little, mostly for questions. Nevertheless, their main target is to get rid of you as soon as possible and there is no interest on proactively trying to help you.

I had an amazing time enjoying the wellness center with its saunas and the peaceful jacuzzi, which was such a fun and relaxing experience. The food was fantastic with plenty of vegetarian options, but it would’ve been nice if the pool stayed open later than 6 PM. Definitely consider the all-inclusive upgrade for the best value! 😊
